Kava julep is an original tropical blend that uses a blend of traditional methods with a twist of tropical fruit.
INGREDIENTS:
150ml of the original grog
Freshly squeezed juice from one orange
50ml of pineapple juice
1 ounce of creme of coconut
Ice
Sugar (for rim)
Served in Coconut Shell or glass
Shaker
DIRECTIONS:
Cut an orange in half and slice a small wedge.
Insert a cut into the wedge and use it to rim a coconut shell or glass with sugar.
Squeeze orange into a shaker glass, and add the rest of the ingredients with a scoop of ice
Shake and pour with the ice into your sugar rimmed shell or glass
Add the orange wedge to the rim and serve

Only rim half the coconut shell or glass with sugar
Save time by squeezing your orange juice beforehand
When squeezing fresh oranges, always clean the orange with clean water to remove impurities on the peel.
Cut a wedge from the squeezed orange and add to the shaker to give an extra orange tang.
